How Much will Shipping Cost?

Shipping cost depends on the shipping method selected (Standard or one of the Expedited choices) the shipping weight of the item, or in the case of large items, the size of the item (not weight) will dictate the cost.

When will my order ship?

Orders will usually be shipped within 2 business day of placing the order. If you need to expedite your order, please call us at 408-456-0333 and we will do our best to accomodate your request. Orders placed over the weekend will ship by Tuesday (if Monday is a holiday order will be shipped by Wednesday). Once your order has been shipped estimated transit times are as follows:

Western United States: 3-4 business days

Central: 5-6 business days

East Coast: 7-8 business days.

Some smaller items may arrive within 2-3 days so be sure to check your tracking# to obtain an estimate on delivery date for your order.

For 3 Day Delivery, when will my order will arrive?

Your order will ship the next business day and arrive in 3 business days. For example, if the item was ordered on Friday it will ship on Monday and arrive Thursday. If you need the item shipped on the same day you place the order, please call us and we will do our best to expedite your request. Please note that certain remote areas may have slightly longer delivery times as dictated by our shippers.

What if no one is home when my package is delivered?

If you enter your home address as the "Shipping Address" and you are not home when the package is delivered, the carrier may leave the package at your door if he feels it is a safe location. If you live in an apartment building, deliveries will not usually be left at the door and the carrier will make 2-3 attempts to deliver.

If the package is returned to us due to the fact that you were not home and did not respond to the notices left by the carrier, you will be responsible for the shipping costs charged by the carrier to resend the order to you.

We recommend using your work address if it is possible to do so as the "Shipping Address", if someone will be there during business hours to receive packages in a secure place.

Can Shopping the Globe ship internationally?

Shopping the Globe can only ship to the 50 states, of United States of America. Shopping the Globe does not ship internationally.

How do I check the status of my order?

You can quickly check the status of your order by clicking here. When you place an order at Shopping the Globe you will receive an order confirmation e-mail immediately that will include your order number and summary.

How do I find my tracking number?

If you provided a valid e-mail address when you ordered, you will receive an e-mail listing your tracking number when your order ships. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within one (1) business days of ordering or if you do not have an e-mail address, you can call Customer Support at 408-456-0333 and we can track your shipment for you.

Can I have my order shipped to a P.O. Box?

Shopping the Globe can ship orders to a P.O. Box address only using the United States Postal Service.
